I really don’t have much beyond the title right now. I’m overwhelmed with emotions at the moment–joyfulness that the Democrats have regained the White House and in awe of what we accomplished tonight as a country. There have been a lot of times over the past 8 years that I lost faith in many of my fellow citizens and in democracy. Tonight, my faith has been restored in my country.

We have many challenges ahead of us as a nation, and the next 8 years are not going to be easy. After tonight–after what we just did as a country–I think we may make it.
