About

If you're here, you probably already know what fanlistings are. However, if you just stumbled upon us, you may be asking yourself what a fanlisting is. In a nut shell, a fanlisting is exactly as it sounds--a listing for all the fans of a particular item, subject, etc. In this case, this fanlisting is a listing of fans of the character Mary Connell on NBC's Las Vegas.

Why did I want to make a fanlisting for Mary? Since viewing my first episode of Las Vegas back in May 2004, Mary Connell has been, by far, one of my most favorite characters on the show. Mary, portrayed by the talented Nikki Cox, serves as the Coordinator of Special Events at the fictional Montecito Resort and Casino. Although Mary's job is quite amazing and fascinating, it is not what makes her such an appealing character. Casino boss Ed Deline said it best with his words "that girl has a heart of gold." Mary is the type of girl that all women can relate to and all men would love to marry. She projects the perfect girl next door image, is a faithful friend, and a loyal companion.

It is truly hard not to love and root for this character. In the course of the series, it has been revealed that Mary did not have an ideal childhood and was abused by her father. Although many would have turned bitter and closed themselves off, Mary is kind, caring, and compassionate. She can often be seen going out of her way to help not only her close friends and loved ones, but co-workers and guests as well.

In addition to her warm nature, Mary is intelligent, charming, funny, beautiful, and down-to-earth. She seems to be universally adored and loved by all those around her, especially her life-long best friend and off-and-on again love interest Danny McCoy.
